Wayward

There was a man. A wayward man.

Fallen he was, in the gaping hole on the valley near the city square in the country of evil on earth in the solar system in the universe of all answers and on a sunny day.

Risen he was, on a rainy day.

---

Walked he did, to a nearby town in a deserted land with no trees and no flowing rivers of fresh crystal clear water rich with minerals and looked around.

Ran he did, back to the hole.

--

Cried he did, to the sad music that has been looping in his mind since the break of the day until the soaking wet rained pour down and right up till now, it still looped.

Smiled he did, as he stopped crying.

--

Then he looked up to the sea of stars, "What are you trying to do to me?". he queried with much curiosity and anxiety.

"GO DIE LA I LAZY CONTINUE THIS AD LA!"

Dead is the man.

Counting days.

Now won't you,
take a look at me.
Now won't you,
take your time with me.

There's not much time to lose,
soon we'll be parting ways.
Friends and family and you,
we'll be counting days.

Know that even when we're miles apart,
even when there's a great divide,
of the physical soil, water and air,
of distance and barrier,
you'll always,
always,
always have a friend in me.

Even when we're counting days,
we'll be counting down to when we'll meet again.
May we part one day,
by pursuit of higher education, natural causes,
death or by alien abduction,
still hold in our minds and hearts,
that we are and will forever be dearly loved. :)

Lest the human brain failed us,
lest the memories flown with a forgetting wind;
Let these words recall, remind and warn,
the ever imperfect mechanics of the flesh.

Author's note:
This goes out to my dearest friends, overseas, below seas or above seas.
First verse is damn gay though.

200th post. Hooray! *jumps in celebration*

I'll Profess My Love For You

Wouldn't it be great if I talked and you only listened,
won't you let me finish without interrupting?
Wouldn't it be great if I got to read from a script,
that I have devised and planned properly,
to make what I say convincing and self-explanatory?

It would definitely be great if you'd give me the benefit of shamelessness,
the advantage that I know I can back myself with a bunch of reasons,
a whole lot of elaborations and a well thought out flow of speech.

It'll be great if I got your feedback,
though not immediately,
not instantaneously.
Wouldn't it be great if you gave what I say,
some time and thorough thought,
before you say something in return?

What is it that I fear so much,
I do not know.
I do see it in movies,
"You don't have to give me a reply now,
go home and think about it. Don't rush it.
Think about what I said to you today."

My friends tell me,
"It's about time you let her know."
Miley said it's the climb,
it's not what's on the other side.
I said,
"lololololololol."

Author's note:
OMG LAME ENDING HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.
Shit I need to write some more crap d. I'm getting rusty.

Funday Sunday.

I just witnessed Radiance giving her first sermon ever in Wesley Methodist Church, Kepong. She talked about "knowing our Father's heart". And I must say that she did extremely well for a first timer. We stuck around for a bit after that then went for the best chicken rice in the world!

Following these events we went to RLC for Radiance's choir practice. Elvin and I went to the Naza World showroom next door. We had our eyes and greasy hands on those uber looking luxury cars! Ferrari, Maserati, Bentley, Lamborghini, Audi, Benz, Mini.... etc. etc. Damn nice wei... Don't wanna show you guys on my blog. Nehhh-neh-neh-poo-poo. (See la, if Elvin uploads them on Facebook...)

After an hour plus of amazement and photo-snapping, we went back to RLC to look for Radiance. Sat down in the room and watched the choir group sing. Jeremy Lim was there too! He is on the bass for the performance I think.

We left for 1Utama next and got our "Cloudy w/ A Chance of Meatballs" tickets to the 6pm show. Headed for Old Town for an early dinner as we still have an hour till the movie. Filled ourselves up and walked back towards GSC. Elvin and Radiance stopped by HOMING to get a water bottle.

Movie time!

CWACOM rating: 7.5/10.

Movie was great, Elvin sent me home, I stoned for a while. Alan came, we went for McD's for Alan's dinner then for Vince's place for Monopoly with Wei Ling, Wei Ru, Vince, and Alan. Tay's supposed to join but his futsal thing had some problem. Matt joined later, bringing food with him and subsequently took over the banker role with a lot of conspiring ideas up his sleeves. Lol. Very fun. It started off slow and the pace picked up when everyone started building houses and paying crazy rents. Ended right about 1.30am and we left for home at around 2.40am. I dunno what they did in between those 2 times, I was on the bed lying dead.

Blog Post

Lol... Many took my previous iPhone entry as an insult rather than a crude joke. I don't really HATE iPhone nor Apple nor Maxis. (Well you gotta hate them, they're doing far better than you.) I'm just calling sour grapes -- you can't have 'em, gotta bash 'em. But in reality, you have to admit that the iPhone 3GS is indeed overpriced.

:)
Cheers - till next time when I actually come up with a post that is more worthwhile,
